Irving street San Francisco

We were in San Francisco last Sunday to run some errands. We went back to our old neighborhood, Sunset. We lived in the Sunset neighborhood for almost 4 years before we moved to the Peninsula Bay Area. One thing we missed the most about Sunset is definitely the Asian food. I was craving some Taiwanese snacks, so we bought bubble teas and Taiwanese style popcorn chicken from this new tea shop, Tea Way. They tasted pretty authentic.
Our other favorite Asian restaurants on irving:
1. Sun Tung Restaurant, 2240 Irving Street, San Francisco, CA 94122: their pot stickers and dry fried chicken are our “must order” dishes.
2. PPQ Beef Noodle House, 1816 Irving Street San Francisco CA 94122: their Five Spices Chicken Noodle Soup is our ultimate favorite!
Books

I bought these two books from Kinokuniya bookstore yesterday. I love all the books published by édition PAUMES. They go around the world to visit creative people’s homes or studios, and document their lifestyle on their books. The books are written in Japanese, but you can certainly enjoy all the beautiful pictures in the books even though you don’t understand Japanese like me (this is the moment when I realize how wonderful to have a Japanese husband who can translate for me!)
If you are in the Bay area, you can buy these books at Kinokuniya bookstore in Japan town or San Jose store. You can find the store location here.
