Home, sweet home -- summer vegetable
By Yaling on Jun 10, 2010 | In home, sweet home

After the seemingly endless cold and rainy spring weather(which is very unusual for the Bay Area), our vegetable garden finally starts to produce delicious vegetables. We planted many types of squashes, but only the Ronde de Nice survived from the unusually cold spring. We re-planted several yellow squash and zucchini plants two weeks ago. Hopefully, they will do better this time.
I randomly seeded some leftover green bean seeds from last year in the garden bed. They are doing much better this year. We didn’t get a single green bean at all last year.
The loose leaf lettuce is doing so well that we are able to have them for dinner at least 3 times a week. It just keeps coming back after cutting!
